Flying Around the World

In my dream, I had the ability to fly and was immortal. I was very lonely, but had gotten used to it. I was the strange girl some people would see alone at the store from time to time. These two boys chased me at Target after I tried to buy some food, but I hid behind a car before flying away. I would have some jobs, but leave them when it came time for me to age, but people would notice I wasn’t aging. I would live in apartments or in my car, as I’m not old enough to do much else. My family had died long ago. After living in the United States for a long time, I decided I wanted to explore the world. It was kind of scary, but I would pick a direction, fly up, and just fly that way until I passed the ocean and came to a new area of land. Flying with nothing around me was scary, I was worried I would fall, but it was fine. First, I was in San Juan. I’ve never actually been there, but in my dream, it was super tropical. It had a Moana vibe with people dressing in a small amount of fabrics and flowers. The water was incredibly blue. The trees were very green. I landed at a spot that was a stretch of land on its own beside the rest of the island, near something that looked like a hotel, a brown building built of ferns. It wasn’t the hotel, but a man there greeted me and showed me a bit of the small stretch of land. On both sides of me were water. Everyone there was tanned skin, but they smiled and seemed to accept me. However, the man who was acting as my tour guide starting touching me and assaulting me, so I flew straight again to another island which was “San Saggitarious.” I met another man there with a family who told me San Juan has mean people while San Saggitarious had nice people, although they looked the same except the latter had these random slits in the ground with water that went down for miles. I became very close to this man and his family, and would help his sickly, pregnant wife tend to their children and needs in their hut. I helped gather fruit from the trees and such. I even told the man my secret, as I became best friends with him. He was very kind and funny. Eventually, once the women gave birth, I decided to move on. This time, I tried to fly to find a less tropical area, like London, which I did. I explored the streets to find a museum I’d heard of, and it was a museum that said to have every name of every person that ever lived that the government controlled. I went inside to find huge scrolls lining the building’s walls in alphabetical order. I tried to find my name, but there wasn’t any luck. I realized I was almost invisible to the world. I wondered then if I would ever be happy. I missed the family from San Saggitarious, but knew I didn’t belong with them. I swore to keep my own museum of names for everyone I met in my mind as I travelled.
