weird school trip nap dream

i was on some sort of school trip but really only in name lmao. apparently we were at a place that i think was the hotel we were staying at and we were all in this dark room, with totally black walls, blocked out windows, etc. so it was pretty dark. i don’t remember why we were in there but this was the trip purpose and it might have even been punishment (?). i also don’t really remember what we did in there but it was depressing and it was based on an apocalyptic book written by a crazy dude. once we were done for the day with whatever we were doing, everyone cheered because we all hated what we were doing and were excited to leave, me included. everyone had grayish skin and huge dark circles because we were in there for so long in the dark. it was awful. i remember walking around with everyone after leaving in the bright and comfortable hotel and going to our rooms, supposedly. afterwards we were at a restaurant and i was chilling with some kinda friends from school and looking at menus because all of us were starving and exhausted. later on i remember walking through the rows of rooms on the day we were leaving with towels strewn everywhere and the rooms humid from people showering, but not much else. i remember vaguely being at a place my brain thought was my grandmothers house for a little while with a few people and being in an old, broken down, dusty ass car, but that’s about it. it’s unsettling af not being able to remember what i was doing in that dark room though
