Car Crash and Academic Paper

I was walking out at night into a parking lot when I saw my car's windows rolled down and the car was unlocked. I frowned but got in anyway. Later, I somehow crashed my car and there was fire and smoke billowing above. On my left passnger side door was scrawled a saying, "Always make sure to take every turn right." Then my mom appeared randomly and said the same phrase on my car. In another dream, my dad was trying to have an academic report published but it kept getting rejected. I asked to look at it and saw he had a lot of quotes from people. I asked if all these quotes were necessary because maybe they wanted more statistics and findings than what people had to say. I woke up then feeling confused.
