Massacre by monsters

Date: 4/7/2021

It began with me, two friends, and my sister in my room. It looked like how my room actually does, but it wasn’t like that for long. We were watching something when my mom came upstairs with several stray kittens (they unfortunately weren’t relevant to the dream) but that was cute lol. Soon we were in the yard of this new house just hanging out outside. We noticed a man who we thought was a neighbor lurk awfully close, so we went back inside. I was then configuring the locks on the doors. The house had the kind of entrance foyer with two doors, the main entrance door and the door leading into the house. Despite locking the doors, the man came in. He left as soon as he came. We tried not to panic and hoped he was gone. But he kept entering and leaving without a single word, completely listlessly. We were freaked out at this point, but it got worse when every time he would come back in, he’d look more monstrous. We all bolted when we noticed the shadow of the man was completely horrific. They decided to hide beside the bed and cover themselves with blankets, while I took a chance at a slightly open door. It seems this house (or room) was connected to a building, and I just mindlessly ran down the halls of it. I noticed many other teenagers running in the same direction I was, and I soon realized I wasn’t the only one who saw something strange. We all collectively reached an area where adults seemed to be rounding everyone together in an attempt to stop the chaos. It was completely futile, as no one knew where they were and what was going on. Why were there so many teenagers in this building? What was the purpose? Did the adults know something that we didn’t? A girl came next to me and started talking to me. She looked rather cute but cool at the same time, with shoulder length blonde hair, a cute outfit, probably some piercings... while we were walking, she took out this small thing that looked like an sd card, but opening it would reveal a small blade. She obviously had some sort of plan. She had a badass aura that made her cooler than she already was. We were led to some sort of auditorium with bleachers. Another ridiculous way to keep us safe. However, it did the complete opposite. Everything happened so fast now. I looked over to this girl and she had a terrible look on her face. Something invisible had twisted her neck nearly off her shoulders. I couldn’t even react as it seemed I was being targeted by this thing next. I raced around the room trying to evade it, all the while everyone lost their minds. This force stopped chasing me when the doors of the gym crashed open to reveal the most ugly creatures imaginable. Most of them looked like they were wearing costumes, like pirates and zombies, but really gross looking. And they were mean. They wouldn’t spare a single person. I was able to escape that “neighbor”, but this seemed a bit less possible. Trying to run anywhere was completely futile. There was just too many of these things. The last thing I remember is just the total massacre that it was.
