To Die or Not to Die

Me and two of my friends were in a huge mall. We were running and hiding from someone that was trying to get us. There was a super long, tunnel-like slide. Everyone knew going down the slide means you would die. But we were chased to the entrance and had nowhere to go. My friends were crying, and they were terrified and didn’t want to die. I was terrified too but I was strong for my friends. I said “Just follow my lead. Just sit and close your eyes really tight and push yourself down the slide.” I went down, squeezing my eyes shut. I was preparing for death but eventually felt myself get to the bottom of the slide and I was back in the mall. I was confused and went looking for my friends. All of a sudden there was a random voice-over: “They escaped, but met their end. Now every once in a while in Heaven I see (my two friends) together, but no one has ever seen (me) here. No one knows what happened to her in that tunnel.” I realized I died but did not go to Heaven like my friends, probably because I did not believe in it, and instead I stayed stuck on Earth.
