Skateboarding and Lantern Ceremonies

I can't remember much about this dream but I just remember feeling really happy. This dream was kind of all over the place. So I was with my brother, his friend who I didn't know, and my old friend April. My brother's friend had a skateboard and wanted to go skateboarding. My brother and I didn't have skateboards so we made some, literally out of cardboard. I remember us saying to each other that these actually worked pretty good with cardboard wheels and all. We then rode them down this hill on this street. I was actually doing pretty good until I had to turn slightly and go in between some parked cars. I just kind of ran into the car and used my hands to get around it. Then Leighla was there skateboarding with us too. We were then on this course of some sort and there was this loopty loop, almost like what you see on hot wheels tracks where it goes upside down, but it was enclosed like a waterpark slide. I didn't have enough speed to get up it so I used a speedy ammo (like in Mariokart) and got through it eventually but Leighla got stuck and was scared. I was telling her to just drop down, whatever that meant. And she got out of it somehow but she didn't know where her board went. Then all of the sudden the dream turned into just me and April skateboarding, I think we lost them. We then got to this field/woodsy area and who knows what happened to our boards after that. But we were walking through and then April starts making something out of tree branches and a knife that she apparently had on her. She handed it to me after it was done. It had a string at the bottom, a bunch of sticks and at the top, 2 of the sticks were cut and were folding outward. She had stuck a small wax candle in there where the sticks were cut, and then wrapped some small vine like string from a tree around it to hold it in place. Then there was what looked like a toilet paper roll (just the cardboard part) around the lower part where the string comes out, and another one high up. I didn't ask her what it was, I kind of knew. It wasn't spoken, but I also knew that she had lost someone or was going through something, i didn't really know at the same time, and this was kind of something to let off in memory of someone or something, like a ceremony type thing. So we were in the woods and she told me to pull the string and pointed to where she wanted me to let it off. She lit it with her lighter and I shot it straight up to the sky where there was an opening in the woods. I remember it looking really cool and they were kind of floating in the air and getting higher and higher, kind of like those floating paper lanterns that some people let go. All the sudden there were a bunch of them and other people we didn't know were with us shooting these things off. I turned to April and I asked her how she made it, then I woke up.
