A Depressing Dream

I had a dream that my mom has become upset with me for reasons that I'm still not so clear about. So what she does is hand me a plastic bag and leaves the room. I take a look at it and believe that she is asking me to kill myself with it, so I then proceed to place the bag over my head while I'm laying on my bed in my room and try to suffocate myself with it, all the while believing it was something I had to do because her being upset made me feel like I just shouldn't live anymore. But while attempting to take such an action with the monstrous plastic bag, my mom comes in and tries to stop me, which leaves me in confusion, wondering why she was trying to stop me when it was clear this is what she wanted me to do in the first place.
