This dream consisted of two parts. The first part of the dream took place at Salon Visage, the hair salon I went a week ago to get my haircut. Apparently in my dream I was not happy with my hairstyle so I call the salon and ask them if they can take me in to redo my hair. They said yes because they always please their customers, so I go in. I check in with the lady at the front desk and she asks me for my name. She appeared as a robust woman with pale skin and light brown hair with golden highlights and was wearing a beige V-neck t-shirt. After checking in, I quickly get my hair done by a different hairdresser. She had long dark brown hair and heavy makeup and was dressed in black. After she completed my new look, I go back to the front desk and ask if I can exchange a $100 bill for 5 $20s. So the woman said of course, and just before she gives me the money, she asks, "Can I take these side streets to the main road. I'm not from around here". Her voice was very humble and soft, so I couldn't hear her the first time. So I apologized and had to ask her two more times what she said. She repeated the same phrase similarly. When I finally heard what she said, I told her "Yes you can" and she's like "Thank you, I'm not from around here, I'm from Pennsylvania that's why I ask". So I get intrigued that she was from PA and I ask her what part. She mentions a town, I kinda forgot what it was, and she asks if I know where it is. Honestly, I have not heard it so I told her no but she perceived my no as a yes so she tests me and asks "where is it?". So I play the guessing game. "Is it Northeast" "Yes" Is it near..." I was giving her certain towns that were also in northeast PA and she said not quite. She printed out a map and I quickly glanced at it and the area was familiar. I never been there but I was familiar with the roads surrounding it. Finally, she gives me the money and after I tip the hairdresser she says have a nice day! And I leave. Part 2: I was at the beach on a cloudy day and the waters were murky. It was Memorial Day Weekend so my family just wanted to lay by the beach. I go in the water and catch some waves and there were a bunch of lifeguards watching us, both men and women. Just as I catch my last wave and head back to the umbrella, I take one quick glance near the ocean and see a full grown shark swimming near the shore. The lifeguards blew their whistles and yelled to everyone to get out of the water now. I head back to the umbrella and take out my phone. You know who texted me? That girl from PA. It was a (315) area code and half the number was (315) 631 - . She texted me telling me it was nice meeting you and she found my number from the sign in sheet at the salon. I briefly told her about the shark incident and she says wow. After the text messaging came to a halt, I was telling my mom that I met this one girl from PA at the salon and she was shocked that she would drive such long distance to work at the salon. I told her that she got my number and we're texting and we're now friends. Mon tells me, "Sometimes, you have to do what you gotta do just to find work" So true.
