Marriage

I’m marrying Maddy. For background, she's a friend of my cousin. Not my type at all really, very "normal". But she's kind and quite pretty. From a conscious perspective, this is like settling for a pleasant option without the passion. Anyway I go around with her preparing for the wedding. It’s not a feeling of puppy love, it’s a mature bond of some kind, weighing both our expectations carefully. She’s still beautiful. When we kiss, it’s like we’re conscious of what we want and why.
