Sleep Paralysis: All Alone

Justin is out of town, so I’m sleeping alone. I fall asleep and am suddenly awoken, but it’s happening. I can’t move, I can barely open my eyes. I feel intense pressure on my chest, like someone is sitting on me. It’s really dark in my room, but I think I can make out a figure in the corner. I start to pray in my head. I tell myself it isn’t real. Then the loud static noise crackles in my ears. It’s so loud I can’t even think. I try to concentrate on my praying. This seems to last for hours. I’m trying to fight the paralysis. The figure never advances towards me, but then something new happens. I watch in terror as it opens my bedroom door. I know it’s opened because I can see the faint blue glow from the fish tank lights in the living room. The figure walks out. I’m screaming in my head because Nate is on the other side of the house. What if the figure gets to him and hurts him?! I break free, and am gasping and crying. I look up and my door is closed. But I decide to search the entire house anyway.
