School Fire (Aftercare)

Date: 5/16/2018

I just woke up from the terrifying dream so everything would be detailed. Somehow, the sky was bright and blue and we were playing outside. Then Ms. M (Not saying full name) told us to come inside. We all reluctantly agreed and went in. Then when we went inside it was nighttime. Nobody really seemed to notice it but my Dad did. (He drives a truck) He called me and said “Run to the truck I’m outside here waiting for you, and get your little brother .” So I went to the hallway where all our jackets were, and got my jacket. I went to the cafeteria then I went to take pictures of the pages for our Social Studies test because my textbook and notebook weren’t in the classroom, and I couldn’t find them in the classroom. As I walked, the bones in my legs and soon my whole body started feeling weird and I stated shaking. Then I got a call from my Dad, and he said, "RUN (my name) THERE'S A FIRE" I immediately hung up in fear and started running to go get my brother and go. But I didn't want to leave people I've known for years, so I tried to yell but I I couldn’t. The 1 word I tried to vocalize and shout,yell,and scream didn’t come out. I couldn’t talk, and felt a tear roll on my cheek. But the fire was a quick one I tell you. Quick. In seconds it was right next to me. My legs reluctantly moved by my command. They were still shaking and felt stiff. A spec of fire touched my shoe, but I shook my leg and it went away. I made sure to see if my little brother was ok but I couldn’t yell his name to come over to where I was. I saw my friend go into the library(in the cafeteria), I thought of going in there would be smart but as I thought about it it would be kinda dumb because the doors are wooden and at this rate, the fire will soon engulf the library where he was. I didn’t have time to save him, to tell him “NO” because it all happened so quickly and I couldn’t talk or even walk for my life. Then I woke up.
