Balancing zebra

There's this arena built of clay in the desert in Central America? Faint outlines of mountains in the distance. A huge twisted rope runs accord the top of the arena. A zebra is forced to walk across it like a tightrope while it's being pulled and spun at either end. When the zebra falls off mobs of people swarm to the zebra below yelling. I've never been to Mexico
