A Year of Recording Dreams

It's been a year since I started recording the dreams I can remember although most end up as fragments and fuzzy "memories" I could of sworn happened in reality. I noticed the setting of my dreams no longer take place in an educational institution and that they have now shifted their focus on my ex-girlfriend. I'm thinking this is enough evidence to assume my dreams steal their inspiration from people and places that I miss. I missed having friends and going to school—ironic as that seems since I hate both equally—so it seems my dreams were influenced by that. A lot of new characters are showing up like my old middle school friends and my cousin—also a lot of new faces I've never met before and if I try to solidify these people into a mental image, I can't because I don't remember how they looked.
