italian restaurant

I was on the wait staff or planning team for this authentic Italian restaurant run by Americans what in Italy and it was huge cavernous ceiling with the large picturesque Terrace windows with strands of flowers hanging down and the owners made some Renovations that were good but then only wanted to open the picturesque window at sunrise and sunset and the Chinese lady apparently was not just a worker said no you cannot do that and said I'll get rid of you the family before I'll let you close that window all day. but it was very awkwardly silent and I think she repeated it or repeated her determination to stick to that.
