Trying to be a hero

Date: 5/6/2017

So I dreamt that I was near a forest. There was this main road that lead up to it, and I followed it all the way to pretty deep into the forest. I heard someone panting and screaming in the distance together with a lot of laughter. Now that I came closer I could see that a helpless girl was being raped behind a bus stop. One of the persons saw me and ran away. The rest didn't mind me and I acted like I was casually jogging past them. In my mind I was like I'm so sorry but I gotta make sure this other guy doesn't get away, and I wouldn't be able to stand up to 2 adults anyway. When I got some distance I got out my phone and called 911. I told them there were 2 people abusing a girl and where they were. I just hoped they would arrive soon. I was still running after this third guy. I was so angry that I was able to catch up to him. When he noticed I was still behind him, he stopped running. Now he came right at me. I didn't care. I punched him flat in the face. But that wasn't enough. He took out a knife and I panicked. I had nowhere to go. Before I could go anywhere he stabbed me in the gut. I tried to stand up but I passed out. When I woke up I was in the hospital. I survived the stab wound. Apparently there was a girl sitting next to my bed. When I woke up she was almost crying. She hugged me and said thank you. Turns out she is the girl that I "saved". For some reason she knew I was the one that called 911. The police arrived in time and saved her. I remember that we were so happy it turned out well. I kinda wanna talk more to her but I can't because I'm awake now. >.<
