Univited Entity

*This is a dream I had a few years ago* I recall being at a sort of party I was hosting. It took place in a house of my own (though, the house doesn’t exist in reality). Everyone was enjoying themselves, until a black shadowy figure phased through the wall. It’s body was partially draped with filthy wrappings and its skin was dark and flaked off in various places. A sort of black haze surrounded it. My initial reaction was to run out of the house from this terrifying creature. Yet, for reasons unknown to me, I suddenly changed my mind. I turned to the creature and instead of running from it, ignoring it, or ridding the house of it, I decided to invite the being to join the party. Suddenly, the entity changed from its dark and gloomy state to a bright and multicolored joyous one. It radiated joy and gratitude. I also noticed by then that all the walls of the house had vanished. *I find my actions in this dream very odd, as I’m positive they go against my waking nature. And since I wasn’t lucid, they confuse me even more.*
