Frustrating dreams

Went to some sort of facility (indoor water park?) where you ride on an inner tube through a huge water ride. Like Disney, but just one giant ride that lasts over an hour and takes you through huge set pieces on the water. I was there with my sister and things were going fine until she fell out of her tube during a section of raging rapids. I followed her and we both got sucked away into a strange employees-only passage and lost our tubes, washing ashore into a corridor. We knew we weren’t supposed to be in this passage. As we walked around, the place was full of unused props. Most of the props were incredibly creepy and horror inspired, like a giant bloody mannequin. We were afraid one of them would move or jump at us. As we walked, we suddenly heard 2 voices and hid behind a corner. Eventually we came out and it turned out the voices were from two little demon creature things, but they were just as scared of us as we were of them. We told them we were lost, and they became friendly and said we needed to find our way back to the main water ride. They didn’t know the way exactly, but pointed us toward another narrow corridor that was harshly lit and white. This corridor was a gateway from other dimensions were anything was possible. Everything in there was corrupted... I remember seeing strange distorted objects and creatures, but I just had to keep walking. It was terrifying. ... Next, I sat at my childhood home’s dinner table. My entire extended family was there, plus some friends of mine from school. It was some sort of reunion and everyone had helped make food. They were serving a delectable seafood dish family-style. I thought it was great how everyone came together to make so many amazing dishes. I really wanted to eat it (shrimp and lobster!) when I got distracted away from the table and went to my room. I remembered that I had a dog living in my room, but I had been forgetting to feed it for weeks. I freaked out but it was fine and healthy. I guess someone else in the house had been feeding it. However, I also found a black cat. I didn’t think this cat was supposed to be in the house so I chased it to the dinner table. Some people cooed over it, but my dad picked it up and agreed we should take it to the humane society so it can be given up for adoption. I got flashes of the cat’s description: one year old, playful but gentle, never bites. I hoped it would get adopted by somebody. After that, I started eating with the group again. I was also talking to my friend about how the museum nearby had finished renovations and was apparently really cool. We were in the middle of this conversation when my friend O and her partner R came barging in. They were having a huge argument. O started crying hysterically and collapsed on the floor sobbing, just behind the kitchen counter so that she was out of view but still audible to everyone. R stood there awkwardly. This continued for a little while until my mom finally got up from the table. She tried to help O to her feet and stabilize the situation by talking calmly to O, but O was crying too hard and pushing her away. R apologized for O. It was a total spectacle. I couldn’t take it and decided to leave and go to the museum. I up and left, determined to do anything but stay and watch that scene. As I rode to the museum, I messaged like 5 people who were at the dinner on Snapchat asking how O and my mom were doing. They all said it was still awful. Finally I got there and found out the museum didn’t open until the next day, so I was just stranded in front of it with the sun setting.
