birthday blues

a little backstory to why this dream occurred: this boy i was talking to ended up being a real dick so i removed him from my private instagram and my private snapchat story and yesterday it was his birthday and i didn’t say happy birthday to him because i didn’t think i should because of how rude he has been. (i got i to a car accident and he did not ask me if i was okay when we were so close just a couple months ago and i thought we were still friends) but i felt rlly bad because we were talking on my birthday and he did really sweet things & yea... ANYWAY the actual dream now: we go to the same school and he is a senior i am a junior. so at lunch we were sitting in our usual spots but my friend i was sitting with left to go talk to her boyfriend so i was sitting at the bench we sit at by myself and i didn’t really care like it was fine. then the boy (lets call him basket) so basket comes over to the bench and sits down right next to me and starts talking to me like before. i was really confused but i just went with it because i was totally not over him. he was asking me about my day and shit (it was his birthday in the dream) and i started crying saying that i’m sorry i didn’t say happy birthday to him and that i thought we weren’t friends anymore but he hugged me and was saying that of course we’re friends and that he gets it. he also started saying that he should have never stopped talking to me and that he still likes me a lot. i was super happy but i knew in the back of my head that it was not a good idea because he’s a pretty shitty person. and i was still upset about the whole car accident thing. all of the sudden he started to kiss me and i went with it again. basket then looks over at his friends who are cheering him on and then he runs over to them and starts daping them up and it turns out it was just some stupid bet that he got $50 for.... i was heartbroken again but gladly it was a dream
