My Coworker dislikes Baptists

I was watching my coworker hanging out in a bar. He was buying beers for the other people in the bar. Eventually he offered to buy some beers for a family sitting at one of the tables, but they declined. A lady at that table said that she doesn't drink because she's Baptist. She then stood up and told him to stay away from her, and then she walked out of the bar. My coworker looked super annoyed, and I was thinking that she wasn't acting very Christian. Later my coworker was ranting about how Baptists should stop living in the past.
