Taking competition WAY TOO seriously

Me and two friends were traveling to a contest, with our rivals who were competing against us. We were traveling via magic carpet (yeah like in Aladdin). We landed for a bit to practice our skills. When one of the girls went over to me and shoved me taking my carpet. "Where did you get this carpet, it's faster than the others. Give it to me." She started taking it from my hands and pulled it away, annoyed I pushed her off and struggled to pull it out of her grasp. Finally when I did she punched me knocking me off my feet and barely conscious. I got up shakily and glared at her, I charged and tackled her to the floor and we started fighting. I looked to my right and saw the same thing had happened with my friend as she fought her own rival. With my other friend and her rival eyeing each other suspiciously. Finally I landed the final blow knocking her unconscious, while my friend did the same. I grabbed my carpet and w both looked at our last friend who shook her head. "I don't want to fight her." We basically encouraged her to do it and she did. Winning the final match. We were on our way to the competition, and we won without a hitch
