Running With a Potential Love

I was working overtime with my forklift. Those guys from the morning shift just couldn't stop staring at me, and that made me nervous. All I had to do was take the single pallet left, but that turned out to be so difficult that I simply gave up. Maria, a girl I like a lot, was waiting for me the whole time, that was such a good surprise. We were both late to catch the bus. They were all leaving already, so we had to run. The weather was so good, it was drizzling and the sky was bright For some reason, I was mad at Maria. I just couldn't know exactly why, since I like her so much and only by seeing her it makes me smile. It was a confusing mix of feelings, knowing that someone likes you back, but somehow knowing that things won't work out the way you want.
