Almost Raped

A friend and I left our apartment to go for a walk and watch the sunset at the beach. So we walk through a little part of a town/city with tall buildings. We begin down the road to the beach, practically seeing the sunset, when my friend says she has to go, but she doesn't want to leave me. I tell her I'll be fine and that she should go. So she goes to a road on the left. I continue down the road to the beach, but realize it's getting dark and I probably should head back home. So I turn around and a man walks out from around a corner. He's got a hungry look in his eyes and I get uncomfortable. He walks/stalks towards me and I back up. He gets really close to me, obviously enjoying my uncomfortable state. Soon I hope throw him and run back to the apartment. I lost him. I go inside the appartment. I go up to my friend Kathia and tell her what happened. I told her that is exactly why I don't want her ever walking outside alone. It's not safe. She understands. End ------------------------------ Side note, I constantly tell Kathia not to walk to the cafeteria or back to her dorm alone at night. But she is head strong and insists that she'll be fine. She is a small 24 year old and could easily be snatched. I do whatever I can to keep her from going anywhere at night alone.
