Study Abroad, Bus Ride, Pirates, and Leaks

I was studying abroad in New Zealand, except I was with the people who went to Jamaica with me in high school (including the science teacher who ran the program). Two of my best childhood friends, AJ and CB, where there as well and I was spending the most time with them. The trip was turning out to be more strenuous than I anticipated. We were hiking through a lush jungle. The jungle kind of looked like it came out of a fantasy land because it was filled with bright colors and weird plants. Insects would fly in the air that I’d never seen before, such as this huge, golden mosquito that were told to watch out for because it was poisonous. We had to climb up these totally steep cliffs with harnesses and it was scary. They weren’t very tall, but they were totally steep. I kept having to go last because for some reason I was struggling the most, even though I’m pretty strong. It was kind of embarrassing and I wasn’t having the best time. I wished I had studied abroad in Greece instead. I was then on a school bus. I’m not sure where I was supposed to be going, but completely different people were with me this time. I sat alone, but behind me was my friend AF. She sat next to a blonde boy I didn’t recognize. Across from me was an old friend, LM. It was kind of awkward because LM and I weren’t acknowledging one another, but AF and the boy were super nice. I think we were talking about Halloween. Then, we realized the bus had a TV and we were choosing a movie to watch. Suddenly, my cat Ari showed up and jumped onto my lap. She snuggled down. LM came over quietly and began to pet her, which was sweet. We ended up being driven to my college, however it looked completely different. It looked more like some resort place for the beach, with bright white buildings and beachy decor. White curtains were flowing around all the doors of the buildings. We were dropped off at a particular building, which was just an empty, white room with a wooden floor. The double doors around the room were open, white curtains swaying in the breeze. Outside were other buildings and stone walkways. Other kids were there. Suddenly, a group of pirates came to take over the school. AF told me to choose a group of pirates to blend into. She chose the funny group that read people’s futures with crystal balls, while LM chose the cynical group. “Typical,” I think I said. I didn’t know which group to choose, so I just hid in the building. The head pirate was a woman (she resembled the one from the movie Castle in the Sky). She was walking around the building, and I kept dodging her gaze by leaning up against the wall she was walking around. I could see her go past the open doors. I’m not sure what happened after that. I remember walking around more and seeing booths or something. The dream changed again. I think we all just went to our dorm rooms to get ready for Halloween. My college friends were with me and asking me if I was going to party. I remember LM was in the room next door and eavesdropping. I told them I wanted to but had homework to do. They told me not to worry about it, so I started to get into my Ravenclaw costume (skinny jeans, blue tank top, denim jacket, and a Ravenclaw hair bow). Most of my suite mates and friends left (even though it was still broad daylight). My one friend FM was still getting ready so I waited for her. The ceiling suddenly started leaking water and it was getting all over my bed, and it was a lot of water. I grabbed a laundry bin to hold the water, yelling for FM. I said we should call the cleaning lady, but FM reminded me that we didn’t know her phone number. We decided to call Public Safety while asking the boys above us to stop showering (we could hear them showering). The water stopped leaking and we heard the shower stop.
