In this dream, I was on the train with my mom and we were going home. My mom currently doesn’t live with me, but In the dream she was. So we were on the train and we sat next to a pretty girl around my age who was eating ice cream and shredded chicken. So my mom began to spoon feed her. I said to my mom “What are you doing?” And my moms response was “I’m just helping her.” I said, “she doesn’t need your help, she has two arms and is capable of feeding herself.” My mom got annoyed at my jealousy and didn’t talk to me the rest of the ride home. When we got off the train and began walking to my apartment, my mom was walking slow and sulking. I asked her what was wrong, and she said nothing and pouted like a child. So I grabbed her hand and said “let’s go, we’ll talk when we get home.” So we walked by a produce stand and she stopped there and pouted and I said “Are you really doing this right now?” She ignored me. I sighed and said “you know what, you do what you want to do.” I angrily began walking away and then I saw my grandfather from a block away waving his hands in the air for me to see him. I met him at the corner and he ran over to his friend that was on the other corner who had something for him. My grandfather came back with a yellow and green canary bird on his finger and said “here, hold this bird, her name is Lupe. She’s for you now” So I was holding her on my fingers and walked around the block with her. I was talking to her, but more like telling her what my day was like. So as I turn a corner, I notice a cat that begins to growl at me and Lupe. So I kinda moved it to the side with my foot. Then I saw a big brown rat jump on me, trying to get Lupe. The rat was also trying to bite me as I pulled it off. People were yelling at me “don’t let it bite you!!” I was scared it would bite me but mostly annoyed and trying to get it away from Lupe. I ran with the rat to a car at a red light and tucked it under the wheel, and I ran back to the sidewalk and I told the car “GO, DRIVE AWAY!” And it did. As the car drove over the rat, I had turned around to not see but I felt the rat’s blood squirt ALL OVER my back and legs and head. It felt like being sprayed with a hose on my back. Lupe was safe and I wasn’t bitten - we continued our walk around the block. I was covered in rat blood.
