The red eyes

I was at my grandparents house laying on a bed with my mom and I saw a shadow running up and down the hallway and a pair of red eyes staring at us and I kept telling her what I was seeing but she couldn't see it. then I was sitting on a couch with my sibling and a cat walked in through the door and I said "do you see that?" and he said no and I kept telling him to look but he never saw the cat.
