I remember a particularly vivid part of the dream where I was going down a path lined with trees... I was hurrying to get to somewhere. The sky became overcast, there was a reddish glow like that of a sunset, and from the west a cloud carrying thunder and lightning was approaching. This frightened me and I fell to the ground. It started raining hard and I could hear the thunder. I kept my head down and on my knees started saying the "Our Father" prayer. When I opened my eyes I saw some coins scattered around me on the ground - two coins which I recognised to be €2, the other I think was US currency. Anyway, I grabbed the coins and ran down the path which lead me to some kind of visitor centre. I wanted to get through this check point and at first the guard there didn't trust me. I gave him the money and he asked me if I'm associated with a group of sketchy guys hanging around near the check point. I said no, even though I knew them, I didn't care about them and just wanted to get away. The guard let me through. There was a staircase that took me down and into a restaurant or diner, and then I found a door to the outside. I felt relieved and rememberer what it was that I was looking for - a specific church. There were a few churches in the area and the layout of the city was confusing and unfamiliar. I felt a little lost but now I was determined to find my way. Part of the dream also had something to do with me being a school girl and changing my uniform to reflect my social/economic status. I went through a similar transformation like Mia in the first Princess Diaries. I also had an affair with an older man... And there was something about me struggling to put up Christmas lights, I ran out of batteries and had a bunch of used ones.
