Nightmare: A Shot of Death

Had a nightmare that I don't remember a lot of. Started good and turned bad fast. I was dating this guy in his mid 40s. He wasn't a whole lot taller than me but he was gorgeous and definitely could handle a throwdown if it happened. He was always so kind to me, something I wasn't so used to.  As time went on, he introduced me to his family and I let him meet mine. It was a good and healthy relationship. But then his ex came back into the picture. She stalked us. She sent me threats in the mail and on the phone. We took it to the police but they couldn't ever find her. Then one day I returned to my home I'd been sharing with my boyfriend... And found him knocked out. I immediately entered the security code to let security know we were in trouble. Then I got my phone out to call the cops for extra measure... But that crazy woman knocked me out... And when I came to, she had me tied to the bed with a syringe in her hand. She smirked and stated, "Let's see which happens first. Anaphylactic shock... Or the cops getting here." She then injected whatever was in the syringe straight into my veins and all I could do was scream muffled screams into the gag she had in my mouth. I don't know the fate of my boyfriend. Just that I screamed and screamed until I woke up.
