I was walking onto what felt like college campus in Reno to a big underground tent with a sort of projector. I had a mask that I tried to keep on, but it kept stretching then and melting off my face like it was made of silly putty. I already felt as though I wasn’t supposed to be there, but I stayed away from most groups until one fratty guy recognized me and started chatting. He brought me up to the front where he and some of his friends were sitting. The girls were sorority driven and vapid, but the girl who I sat with too much velocity next to and way too close seemed to warm up to me by the time I wanted to go. The guys were sitting on the other end of the half moon, there were like 3 other girls to my right. The guy I knew on my left. After a while, the projector appeared to only be playing advertisements and spongebob. I felt super uncomfortable so I asked the guy to move and I got up to leave.
