There was some little village in the middle of nowhere and some weird little magical guy showed up and was raised by the mayor (I think) without ever really knowing what they were. Someone else like the kid shows up and hears about a stone that the kid was found with and wants it, so he possesses the kid to get to it. Out of fear the father breaks the rock and they're left alone for now, but a new rock with the same qualities shows up not long after. But then I woke up
