My boyfriend was physically abusive, he would beat and rape me (this did not occur in the dream, it was just knowledge I had). The dream began with me running away to escape him. I started in Connecticut and made it to New York. In NY on the street I ran into a couple- guy and a girl, who I was friends with. They said they would help me get far away. I spent a day with them getting food and traveling and looking for a hotel or motel to spend the night in. Other friends were with us for the night. Once I settled into my room I met up with everyone and one of the friends told me the couple was actually working with my abusive ex and the plan was to bring me back to him. I looked at the couple and neither of them said anything. I looked back at the friend and she yelled “RUN!” I immediately booked it but the guy was extremely fast and tackled me within moments. He started beating me, punching me in the face. I saw a bunch of my teeth on the ground and blood started gushing from my mouth.
