Childhood crush/friend

It was literally just a series of memories of me as a kid with my childhood crush who was also my friend. Hanging out, hiking together, acting stupid cause we both liked each other but were literally only 6 years old. I kept going back to sleep if I woke up because I don’t feel that way about him now and we both have different lives now and his family sucks. But I didn’t wanna wake up because it’s sad that 2004 is just gone like that, and we couldn’t have just stayed innocent kids forever, sneaking out to watch a sunset together
