Peer Pressure & a Disappointing Hike

I'm at school/college and a popular girl expresses the need for me to participate in the Christmas play so I played a minor role. We're going on a field trip with school, hiking. As we get off the bus and begin to hike, we soon finish and I realize how short the hike was, it was maybe the length if a football field before we ended up back at the bus. I was disappointed.
