Using space pod to escape apocalypse

This dream was totally wild and happened while I was taking an afternoon nap. In the dream, my wife somehow knew that the world was going to end in a few hours. There was a high level of stress to try and gather everything which we would take with us to leave the Earth. In the garage we had a sort of space vehicle / capsule. The front was a giant dome bubble made of glass while the rest of the body was some sort of metal. The glass dome in the front opened up and there were two seats in the pod with a lot of leg room between the seat and the glass dome. At this point, the dream cuts to me being at a wedding. The wedding is outdoors and I am standing all the way in the back behind all of the people who are sitting to attend the wedding. Since I knew the world was about to end, I was not sitting with everyone else so I could leave without disrupting. I don’t think anyone else in the dream knew that the world was about to end. I went back to my home and time was running out, only a few minutes left. I have nothing packed and there is not enough time so my wife and I get in the capsule, we bring our son in his car seat and I set him down by my feet. I grab two joystick like objects to control the pod and we start accelerating toward the sky. We pass through some think clouds and when we get above them, we could se some round black reflective objects which are partially protruding through the tops of the clouds. The objects are large in size, almost looking like the domes of sky scrapers peaking above the clouds. These spheres seem to be some sort of black hole object with an event horizon. They are dormant but about to activate as we pass above them. As we continue to leave the Earths atmosphere, the spheres begin to suck everything in and destroy the Earth. This was not visible to me in the dream because the front of the pod is moving away from the Earth, but I can feel the rumble as we escape. As if the dream was not weird enough, now it really gets weird. We quickly encounter some sort of space hotel / motel which is just floating. There are aliens life forms which are visiting the motel. There seem to be many different types of species. I open the front of the capsule and begin to float out of the seat. I am in front of this space motel which is just floating. I have a tether which I can attach to the pod but I am not able to figure out how the connections for the tether work. At this point I woke up and the dream ended.
