Water balloons

It was some sort of school yard game where the kids would put on helmets and protective gear and run around trying to avoid being hit by other kids with water balloons or they would be "dead" nothing much to it, though I remember someone needing to explain that the helmets were there so they could aim for the back of the head without hurting anyone.
