i was on a an island and i guess we were all in tropical huts or tree houses and we had to evacuate suddenly but i didn't know why so i went to a woman who i presume was the leader and asked her. she said there was nothing wrong and i believed her. she was braiding palm leaves vs because apparently we were all supposed to. we went together (to the right) down to sand level somehow????? then (idk in on the same day) i decided to go swimming and i did for a while. my eyes were closed and i could hear and sense what was around me. when i came back up, a man (who i also knew as someone important but idk how) said we were gonna look around and i said my eyes weren't open. he was amazed i could keep my eyes shut and said he was gonna teach me how to swim with my eyes open. he took my hand and we started with our eyes open. we swam for a while and then i saw a single fire on the ground. we were doing breast stroke kicks and i was holding his hand swimming behind him. i didn't feel unsafe or weird. we kept going deeper and into more narrow places with more fires and wreckage. it was also darker. i forgot to mention, but the beach looked bright and clear with deep water like bellows in the summer or something. but now the color scheme was red and darker and fire. eventually he kinda made me swim ahead of him so i did and he kept helping me which was nice. i guess we didn't need to breathe? eventually i saw a swarm of something from behind something. (the path so far had been kind of right then round to left) he said something about how "oh yeah thats knows as [i don't remember]" and then they started crawling in my ears and i guess i died because dream was over and i woke up soon after.
