shane, and a few other bodies were standing in a circle. giovanni walks up to us and he hovers for a moment. im still looking up at him at an angle. he mumbles a few words, and tells me he's really sorry for the way things panned out. shane gives him an exhausted look. then he proceeds to finish the conversation with, "we're just really fortunate to be living here."
