Sleepover, stories, and dragons

My best friend was spending the night at my grandfather's with me. All the beds were taken by dream cousins. We were both really tired but couldn't fall asleep for various reasons such as not having a place to sleep, cousins keeping us up, and eventually we found an old camera with a picture of a ghost which scared me so much that I couldn't sleep. The dream shifted and suddenly I wanted to buy a small house in the woods. To do this, I had to catch a ride up a creek. I left the house I was currently at on a bike and soon my dream golden retriever was there too. I knew that the guy who ran the rafts name was Ryan. I got to the dock while my dog played in the water. A dream guy who was a long time friend showed up and eventually he and I got in the water too. Then my best friend was there too just as the raft guy showed up. I also dreamt that I was a traveling adventurer. Two friends that I had made along the way were the ghost of a child and the ghost of their dog. They lived in a castle and couldn't leave. For some reason I had to take them to a forest to live and complete some ritual or else they would disappear. The ghost could wander freely at night during the travel but had to stay in the shade/covered for the day. The forest shifted into my grandfathers den and it was just my imagination. But then I found a book and started living out the events in the book. I was a policeman who failed to stop a kidnapping and murder in the 1920s, and I was also a child whose sibling accidentally died while I was the only one at home. The mother blamed me for it and the whole family hated me well into adulthood. The last story was back to adventures and I was me instead of living someone else's life. I had a friend who had been missing for a week and I decided to look for them. They were at some really pretty mountain town but were arrested. I got them out and we traveled to a temple and little bit higher up the mountain to rest. I cant stress how beautiful the views were. Turned out the temple had a secret which was they took care of dragons. One of the workers sensed that my friend and I had a connection with a dragon and could bond with it. We went to a cliff and one of the temple workers let my friend choose a card at random. Apparently he picked right and it confirmed that there was a dragon for him. The card also revealed that his dragon was female. Next he ran off the cliff and fell, and a cream dragon caught him mid way. He rode back up and excitedly waited to see what would happen with me. I walked forward and picked a card. The worker asked if it was one of two pictures, which would reveal the gender. Mine wasnt either choice which startled them. My card was all black except for two red eyes. They decided to let me jump anyways with my friend going to get me if I fell longer than 3 seconds. I ran and jumped and started counting. Right on 3 a black dragon appeared and caught me. We flew around a lot and I could also do fire magic now and it was just the best.
