I was on a large smooth rock in the hot sun in clothes made for an explorer. In my head I had gone to see my parents, but I didn't mean biologically, I had been studying a mating couple of rare mammals and finally came to their watering hole to meet them in person. The water was crystal clear and below you could see bright yellow sands and plant life. One of the parents approached me friendly, it looked like a yak almost, or a bison. It was big, hippo sized with thick brown fur, padded feet, a wide face and small horns. The other was close too. I reached out and stroked the head of this awesome animal, it seemed content enough to let me play with it, it's large platypus-like tail swished happily in the water. I slipped into the water and grabbed onto it to stay afloat which it seemed fine with. I looked in the water for predators and found none. Not taking any chances I climbed out onto the sand. I spent around 20 mins in awe before they left. I then realized I was in the wild on my own with no sense of direction. The water dried up a little into a pond. I saw multiple grooves in the sand and thought to myself that snakes made those and where they end is where the snakes are buried. Around my feet were a few small trails and no matter how careful, small snakes, one red and a few white, kept wriggling to my feet to bite me. I stayed on the rock for safety and saw an alligator/crocodile (I can't remember). It had a baby on it's back and caught a bird in it's mouth as it flew past. It looked at me possibly seeing a threat so I got ready to move. Then my dad runs right past it and through the sand full of snakes into the jungle beyond. I saw a reddish cobra start tailing him and I followed, a snake not far behind me too. Suddenly sand turned into carpet and I lost my dad but now I'm in my living room. I rush upstairs and turn around to see a deep green cobra hiss at me from the bottom step. I sighed in relief that snakes don't have usable legs and got out a snake index on my wrist (?). It said the red one was a diamond back cobra and the one at the bottom is unrecognized by the index. I thought for some reason it may have been a king cobra. Bear in mind I have little to no experience with snakes or wildlife or anything outdoors.
