Long tailed wasp

I was in a room next to a long hallway with some friends and they told me there was a wasp in the building and that I should be careful. I didn't think anything of it because they're so small and if it lands on me I'll just stand still and it'll fly away. I had to get to a room on the other side of the hallway, when I walked out I saw the "wasp." It was just a floating horse tail with eyes, covered with hair and it looked very friendly at first. It inched toward me and I backed away, it kept doing this and I kept backing away until it wrapped around my neck. This is when I woke up to feel the loose hairs from my haircut yesterday all around me.
