The River

I had left my car 🚘 at the end of the river. I had to get back to my car before the river rose and my car got washed away. So there was a guy there and he had a boat and he offered to take me down the river. He was like a guide to me. But halfway through, he dropped me off and left me to fend for myself. I was upset, but there was a bank to walk on and so I thought it would be OK. I walked along the bank until the bank ran out. Then I had to wade and swim through the river and then I encountered some rapids. I knew I was in trouble. The water kept bobbing me up and down And I almost drowned. Somehow I was taken all the way back to the beginning of the river. I went back to the guide and said you have to stay with me the whole way. I got in the boat 🚣 and he said, You are crazy, the river is flooding, You need to get out. I said my car is at the end of this river and I have to rescue it before it is flooded. So I say can I have your boat? He says I have to drive it. I say are you coming then? He says I’ll take you as far as I can. But then you’re on your own. I agree and he gets in the boat. We go down the river and the banks are flooded. There’s a little bank left. I don’t ever remember reaching my car. Eodair.
