killer on the loose

I was in an apartment complex sort of like where I am living now but not really. The apartments were all on the ground floor and the bathrooms were outside. It was crowded an a lot of people were around talking and just enjoying the day. I went to the bathroom and when I came out, it was quiet and a bit dark and there were people moving cautiously around. I walked into the apartment I was in and a gentlemen (I don't recall who he was. Wasn't familiar) told me that "he" tried to break in and he had to barricade the door to keep "him" out. He said he kidnapped the children on the playground and took them behind another complex and shot them all. And he was armed and dangerous. People were running to their cars and I realized that mine was close but didn't have the courage to run to it. I walked around the apartment and saw a few people hiding and crying. They wanted to catch the man. I walked outside cautiously and saw my old roommate sitting outside and I told her she needed to hide because there was an armed man on the loose. She had her phone and a man walked up to her (looked like Dean from PKP tbh) and then the cops came out and arrested him. Everyone was cheering because he was arrested.
