My parents' washing machine has broken. Rather than buy a new one or get it fixed, they are insisting that I take their washing in my car and drive to my house which is many miles away just to wash it in my washing machine and then drive it back to them once it is clean. I suggest a launderette or even posting it back, but they have their hearts set on it being driven all the way.
