Storms and Mike

I can’t remember where we were going or why, but I was in a vehicle with someone, A female but I can’t remember who... and we were driving on the highway in a storm where the sky would go dark for short periods of time and you couldn’t see other vehicles around you. I was the passenger. Everyone was driving super fast and not slowing down so it was chaos and we kept almost wrecking into other vehicles. We finally pulled the car over and decided to run for cover. There were other people running for cover as well. We decided to take cover in a ditch instead of going into someone’s house. I kept yelling to the person I was with that we didn’t need to take cover in the house and that we would be okay outside. The next part of the dream that I remember was completely different. I was somehow in a “truck stop” type of place that had several restaurant options and the people there had chinese accents. I was with Michael Teegarden, my ex boyfriend, and although I do not remember exactly how I got there in the dream, I know that I somehow got separated from Macie, my sister, and had the chance to “sneak away” with Mike when I ran into him on some kind of road trip and I did. In the truck stop, Mike was searching for a “China king” type of place, asking the workers if it was there and where it was. We found it and I made a comment that we had been there before. When we sat down to eat, there was a guy/boy with us that we didn’t know but he was acting like he knew us and continued to act really strange. We tolerated it for a while until we couldn’t handle his weird behavior and then asked him to leave our table. He got very upset and started throwing food, but eventually left. The next thing I remember I was in the restroom at this place when I saw Macie through the crack in the door. Fearing she would see me, I immediately said “Macie???!!” And she reacted with surprise and relief, asking where I had been and what happened and why I left/disappeared. I didn’t want to tell her that I was with Mike fearing that she would be mad at me, so I lied and told her that I lost her and thought that she had somehow left me and that my phone had died. I don’t remember the part of the dream where I left her, but it felt like I had left her at a different place so the fact that I ran into her again really caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting it. I don’t remember who Macie was with but she told me they were leaving and since I didn’t tell her about Mike, I casually walked out of the bathroom with her and headed for the door with her and the people she was with. Feeling bad about leaving Mike without telling him, I lied to Macie again and told her that I had forgotten my wallet and keys and I ran back towards the China King restaurant to find Mike. I found him sitting at a table and I just looked at him sadly and he looked back as if he already knew what I was going to say. I told him “I have to go.” And he remained calm but looked so sad and said something along the lines of “are you sure? We can figure this out, I think we can make this work” but I told him no and that if I left Macie again “ I’d definitely be a huge asshole”. I backed away and started back toward the front door where Macie was when I realized I really did leave my wallet and keys so I ran back, scooped them up and ran back to the front. On the way I randomly saw Ashley Parrott, an old friend, who was holding up two pairs of red boots and smiling as if to remind me of a conversation we had had previously. I smiled but kept running past her for fear that if she stopped me and started talking that Macie would overhear and find out about Mike. At this point I was literally sprinting out of the store and along the way a person that worked there tried to stop me to get me to pay for something that she thought I had purchased. In the dream I could t remember what this purchase would have been and I kept running, again fearing that Macie would find out about Mike if I stopped. I also feared that the store would now be after me because I didn’t pay for whatever it was this lady thought I purchase, and that my whole story would be blown anyways. This is as much as I remember and I think I woke up at this point.
