Basketball lucid

I'm in some tiny gym with someone. It's a woman. We're playing basketball. I feel like I don't want to be lucid yet. There's this odd feeling of knowing that I'm dreaming but going along with being hypnotized by the dream until I'm ready to become aware. So as I'm playing basketball I slowly stop and look at my hands. I become aware that I'm dreaming. I try to rub my hands together to prolong the dream but it slowly ends. I thought I woke up but I just transferred to another dream. THEN I woke up and almost forgot that I was lucid.
