Staring Contest

My dreams usually consist of different parts. Like a chapter for five different books. Part 1 What I remember is running. A lot of running and hiding. The devil was after me and I was desperately trying to find a place to hide. My last safe houses were compromised and I didn't know where to go but there was this castle for sale. A real estate agent was showing this family around, and I snuck in. I remember going into a child's room and hiding in this cupboard. The devil was so close, so I grabbed as many stuffed animals laying around and shoved them in front of me in the cupboard as I hid in the back part. He walked in and slammed open the cupboard. My leg was exposed which he grabbed onto, and killed me. Then I woke up and went back to sleep.... Part 2 I was Beth from walking dead (after I was with the rest of the group, namely Rick) and had to hide from (as per usual) the zombie apocalypse. But after I moved into this apartment, something was wrong with it, so I had to move my (all wooden) furniture. I did so, and later had to run an errand so I went into my car which had a sun roof that was open. I got into the car and was going through my routine of getting ready to drive. I checked my rear view mirror and screamed, horrified. My face was black. Not African American black, I mean black as black paint, black as a burn victim, black as obsidian. It covered part of my forehead, my nose, mouth, chin. Beyond that, my cheeks looked like they were sunburnt, red, and freckly where i don't have freckles. I remember seeing a bat flying towards me, and being thoroughly horrified, I was frantically trying to close it. Anyone who has ever owned a vehicle with a sun roof, knows that it takes its' time to close. The bat landed and I kept shutting the sun roof, but the bat landed on the edge of the sun roof. It stuck it's head into the car and I nearly screamed. But I couldn't even though I tried. I was frozen completely, finger still on the button, squeezing the bat's head into the sun roof. I stopped pressing and it was still stuck, unable to move, but I knew somehow that even if it could, it wouldn't. It stared at me,unblinking, for what seemed like hours. We stared at each other, unmoving, frozen. And I felt like he wanted to tell me something, like he was trying to give me a message, but I'm unsure of what it was. I don't remember what happened after that, I think I woke up.
