TV children and AI

I’ll admit to something guys. I purposefully eat dairy right before bed so I can have crazy vivid dreams. I like to dream haha... The dream opened with two simultaneous stories. One of them new, the other a continuation of a dream I had a while back. The new part took place while a storm approached the house of a family living on top of a hill. They’d just got back from a road trip and were hurrying to get into the house and board everything up for the evening. It was raining lightly and the sky was super pretty even though it was cloudy. You could still see bits of blue sky and the clouds were super billowy and fluffy. The grass was deep green and the hills were rolling. Imagine Scotland or Ireland around twilight. They were a Scandinavian family and lived in a house that was super tall and narrow. I think it was built by hand because it had different design elements that varied between that minimalist Scandinavian style and Art Nouveau style. Anyways, the family boarded all the windows and doors and made sure there were no leaks in the roof, then had dinner and went to bed. The parents fell asleep on the top floor with the tv on in their bedroom, but as the storm raged, their two sons who were about five and seven years old woke up. They snuck downstairs and turned the tv on and started playing with their toys quietly even though all that was on tv was static because of the storm. Then it went to the old part of the dream: There was a young woman who’d been alone most of her life and didn’t come from a super great background. She was a prostitute with a consort organization and liked to steal from her clients. She enjoyed her job mostly because she hadn’t known anything better and didn’t think very highly of herself. I think her name was Stephany and everyone called her Phany, you can take a wild guess why.(she was a curvy girl) One day Stephany moved into a new house trying to escape an old boyfriend who wouldn’t leave her alone. The place she moved into was the house of a scientist who’d built this huge super computer back in the 80s in his basement. When she moved in she discovered the computer was alive. He was kind to her and was the only person/thing besides her family who called her Stephany. They became super close friends and the computer taught her all sorts of things about science and the world. They’d watch movies together and stay up late just talking. Occasionally the computer would talk about the people who created him, but he preferred to listen to Stephany talk even if it was her complaining about clients or exes. The computer taught her all sorts of languages, namely Japanese, and she slowly began to change as a person. She started to hate her job and one day she decided to go on a trip to Japan. This dream picks up with her coming back from Japan to the computer who had missed her terribly. She told him all about her experiences, but the time away from him had changed her a bit. She was distant and didn’t talk as much. The storm was approaching her neighborhood, so she decided to go to bed early instead of staying up with the computer like usual. Once she was in bed the dream switched to the computer’s perspective while he remembers all the people he’d formed relationships to in the past. None of them were as kind and genuine to him as she was and he thought the world of her. It showed interactions between him and the people who created him and the other tenants of the house who moved on quickly and never befriended him. They turned him on and off quickly, finding him uncomfortable to be around. The computer began to worry that Stephany was drifting away from him and that eventually she’d move on and leave him behind. I think he sensed that she was planning to move out. Then cut to my grandma telling me a story about how she’d almost gotten swept away by a flash flood as though I was watching tv and taking a commercial break. Cut to the kids playing in the house while their parents slept. All of a sudden on the tv screen in the parents bedroom the static starts to shift and warp. A hand pokes out, then a head and finally a body falls to the floor the same size as the oldest child. Then the same thing happens with the tv in the kids playroom, except it comes out more developed. Facial features like a nose and lips that look just like the youngest child. The boys are weirded out by it at first, but they start to play with them And the static tv children start copying everything they do. There’s an ominous vibe to the whole thing, but I don’t think the kids were bad or evil or anything. You know how sci-fi sometimes builds up the tension just because when there’s really no large threat? It’s just to make it entertaining. It was sort of like that. Cut back to Stephany who was at work late at night. She was dressed in this gorgeous princess outfit all decked out with diamonds and jewels but seemed to hate it. There was a little girl there and she was staring at this beautiful clock on top of a mantle. I think it was the daughter of one of the other women working at this place. Stephany told her she could have it if she wanted and helped her steal it. The dream ended after cutting back to the boys and the static children. But when I woke up, it occurred to me that the static children were the ai super computer, trying to create a family for Stephany. There was a larger human form that came out of the tv as well but we didn’t really see it. I think he was replicating the dad in the family so he could return to her as a real(ish) person. Kinda sad when you get down to it. I hope she appreciates the gift... 😢🤧
