Study focus group

I had a dream that I was invited to be part of a focus study group, and get paid for each item I participated in. I was told to be sure and arrive at least five minutes early. I recognized a woman from the application process, who had already arrived and checked in. I saw her outside and she was spitting something out in a trash can outside the office building. I looked at the clock and it was 8:56 (I think)—I was already one minute late, and I hadn’t checked in yet. They started giving me things right away, starting with food. I was given tuna with crackers. Oh, crap. I forgot to tell them I’m gluten free. I said something, and the chef immediately brought out some pre-packaged gluten free crackers. That was super nice! Aside from arriving five minutes early, I was warned not to gossip or bad-mouth anything or anyone there. Somehow I violated that request, too. I forgot what I bitched about. They brought things out fairly quickly. I remember thinking that I was going to get fat sampling food for 8 hours. Then someone came out with duffle bags in varying colors, including a lilac and an eggplant colored one. I commented, “Ooh! I’m all about that dark purple duffle bag.” I realize it was pretty brazen of me to make such a request, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to make a not-so-subtle suggestion. It was odd that I was part of a focus group, but I wasn’t asked about things, like survey questions. Perhaps they will do that at day’s end, or perhaps they were recording us during all interactions, or both.
