I had started a job at an old ppls home. I just did odds and ends around the place. I gave the old ppl their food, I dusted, I bathed & fed the baby birds they had there (they looked like they shd have still been in the nest with their mama, they were tiny and still bald and everything). They were kept on a shelf in individual little buckets. I had missed a couple days of work for some reason. When I came back they punished me by taking away my two favorite jobs which were taking care of the baby birds and dusting & reorganizing the teddy bears. I started crying when the boss told me this (the boss was a cute guy around my age, Danny. He liked me but he started being kindof an ass at this point). When I started crying he said "This is what happens. You can earn those jobs back in a few days by not messing up again." He then sent me into a back area that I hadn't been allowed in before. He made me clean some corner of the room. I picked up some random piece of junk and asked where he wanted me to put it. He looked at me disapprovingly and told me that I shd know where it goes, he had already told me. He hadn't though. I had never been back here before! If that's what he thought though then it looked bad on me! It didn't matter who was right or wrong. All that mattered was that he was the boss and what he said or thought or whatever was all that mattered. I finished up back there and was walking up front when I heard my friend Tori there telling a resident that I had just been fired for stealing credit cards from the residents. I denied this vehemently, of course. The boss overheard this as well and stepped in to correct her. It had been someone else that was stealing credit cards and had been fired. Tori just gave me a mean look. I cdnt understand what her deal was! Why was she being such a bitch?! Anyway, the boss decided to continue punishing me for my missing days. I don't remember what he did to me this time, but it was too much. I wdnt take it. I quit. I needed the money, but I wasn't going to be treated with such disrespect.
