Alien detective

I'm seeing drone footage of an apartment at night, I can see right through the walls, and into cupboards. It's a normal apartment except for there are lots of conspiracy theory books dotted around. I'm scouting out the home of a suspected serial killer. I'm outside on a sort of fire escape, there's a fluorescent blue bug hovering above me, it's fat and about the size of a football, I grab it by the stinger and plunge it into my arm, it's painless but from a third person perspective I see myself turn invisible. I sneak into the apartment, as soon as I enter the bedroom the old man is lying there, playing with himself under the covers and looking right at me, my invisibility has run out. I get an idea. "Great work you're doing" I say He smiles, "are you an alien?" I tap my nose "we're always watching" I ask where is the man he took and he directs me to the kitchen where there is a severed head on the floor, he casually explains how he killed the man in detail trying to impress me. I tell him "well done" trying to act as other-worldly as I can "We'll be watching" I repeat as I find the exit and get out of there as quick as I can.
