Les Mis and Violence

My high school theater company was finally getting the opportunity to preform their musical, Beauty and the Beast, but in the dream, the show morphed into Les Mis (which we did last year). It was still the same people from batb, but I was able to be in it as well as the sick whore again. It was fun, but the vibe felt really dark. As the play went on, problems arose. People began to start feeling sick, including Jack who was playing Jean ValJean, and Zoe who laid down backstage. The set was falling apart. It felt like a bad show. At one point we took a break in the middle of act one just because people didn’t feel like preforming. Later, I found these little kids huddled in a corner to realize a daycare was happening nearby, and some kids snuck into the auditorium. One of the boys was reading a very old fashioned book, and the other kids were making fun of him for it. I watched in sadness and disbelief as they took the book and smashed the kid’s face with it. His nose was bleeding as they hurt him further. The kid looked like a broken doll as I rushed over and picked him up, finding the director to call the hospital. I was a sobbing mess and angry at the camp counselors for not being there to help. No one else seemed to take the whole thing very seriously, walking past me with this dismantled kid in my arms. I also remember Johnny Depp showed up outside, dressed as the wolf from Into the Woods. He and my sister were getting along. He would hide behind trees and she would find him (she was wearing a Belle dress). The dream changed and I was shopping with these popular girls from high school, even though I was never friends with them. Or maybe we just bumped into each other. Anyway, the store was kind of bare with big windows, and it was raining outside. We were looking for swimsuits and trying them on in the open because no one else was there. Suddenly, boys from high school showed up, including my cousin who was on a treadmill, so we freaked. My cousin ended up giving me a ride home and it was awkward because we’re not very close. For some reason I asked if he went to this walking path frequently because I thought I saw him there.
